It is with the greatest sadness that we must inform you that Monday afternoon, 21 October ,

Graham Miller passed away from a suspected cardiac event while out cycling with his youngest son. Graham was a huge part of the club and took on a lot of tasks for the club with great enthusiasm, and will be sorely missed by us all. He leaves behind huge shoes to fill.
For now we hope you will all stand with us in mourning a fantastic club member and supporting his family in anything they may need from the club. It goes without saying that Nicki and family will be absolutely devastated and with more important things to occupy their time. Please do give his family the space to mourn their devastating and sudden loss.
In Honour
To honour Graham the club flag will fly at half mast for the week beginning 28 October.
We will hold a condolence book at the club for club members to share memories of Graham which will be held in the club room for the next week. Please do take a moment when you have the time to share your memories of graham with his family in this book.
During Dee Autumn Head, We hope the whole club and wider river dee community will come together to honour graham, In communication with the organisers, other Dee clubs and the club committee, here are a few things we would like to ask members to participate in.
Firstly, we are asking that all club members racing wear a plain black base layer underneath their all in ones, for the younger juniors racing in t-shirts we ask that you race with a black ribbon on your t-shirt. For anyone not racing who wishes to do the same there will be black ribbons available in the clubhouse for you to take. If anyone is struggling to find a suitable top please get in touch with your squad/crew lead. All our racing boats will also have “in memory of Graham Miller” added to them.
In addition we will be holding a minute of clapping at midday in grahams honour so it would be great for everyone to stick around the club between
