Here at Royal Chester we are happy to provide visiting crews with an alternative training environment. The river Dee at Chester is perfect rowing water (there are 5 clubs within 200m of each other). There is plenty of room and a variety of river stretches on the 7+km to work with, including a 1000m straight.
Off the water, Chester is a vibrant and interesting City and the club is located within 5 minutes walk from the centre. There is a friendly Pub almost next door with Real Ale and Good food 'The Boathouse"' and a lovely café 'The Moorings' both with outside seating over looking the river.
