LUCY THOMSON WINS GOLD AT COUPE DE LA JEUNESSE
Congratulations to Lucy and her partner Anna Cowell (of Sir Williams Perkins School) on being selected to represent GB in the U19 Double Scull in Castrelo de Mino, Spain last week and medalling on both days! On the Saturday they led from the front, winning gold ahead of Spain and Norway. They fought hard to come away with Silver on the Sunday narrowly beaten by Switzerland. Overall GB won the event having gained the most points. We look forward to seeing what Lucy does next. This is her second time representing GB this year after racing at the Munich Junior Regatta in the U19 4x- earlier in the season. We would also like to extend our congratulations and thanks to her coach Chris Jackman for all his support and encouragement.
