NoE Head win

This years North of England head saw some great results for the Senior Squads.

The men’s first eight won overall for the third year running breaking the course record in the process with a time of 14:04.

Our Senior Women also showed a strong performance as the fastest women’s club boat beating local rivals Grosvenor amongst others.

Senior Women raced in London at WeHorr battling the conditions that saw the initial starting field whittled down to a half of the original list.  Over 160 crews were cut from the draw as a consequence of the yellow flag, so RCRC did well to get to race at all!

They did extremely well to improve their position by 50 places, progressing from 136 to 86. They were the 2nd placing Medium Provincial Club - having finished strong in difficult conditions.

The crew included some new faces this year including 2 that have progressed from the development squad this year. This was their first time on the Tideway
